Understanding Monthly Response Limits by Plan
Each Surveti plan includes a monthly quota of completed responses — learn what counts as a complete, when the counter resets, and what happens over the limit.
Overview
Each plan includes a monthly quota of completed responses ("completes") — learn what counts as a complete, when the counter resets, and what happens when you go over.
The quotas
| Plan | Completes per month |
|---|---|
| Free | 100 |
| Solo | 1,000 |
| Professional | 3,000 |
| Team | 7,500 |
| Research Team | 20,000 |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
What counts as a complete
An attempt counts once it answers 5 questions or reaches an end state — finished, screened out, or over quota — whichever comes first. Abandons under 5 questions, consent declines, and blocked bots never count. Deleting responses or projects later doesn't un-count a complete. The rule is platform-wide and applied identically to every workspace.
You can see this month's usage anytime under Settings → Billing, or in the Plan usage section of the dashboard.

What happens at the limit
- Free plan — new respondent sessions are blocked once you hit 100 completes for the month. Respondents already mid-survey can finish. Collection reopens on the 1st of the next month (UTC), or immediately when you upgrade.
- Paid plans — collection never stops. Completes beyond your quota accrue as overage ($0.10 per complete, or prepaid 500-complete packs at $25), and results/exports show an overage notice until it's settled.
Tips
Tip: Screen-outs count as completes (the respondent did engage), so budget quota for your expected incidence rate — a 30%-incidence study burns roughly 3× your target completes.
Note: The monthly window is the UTC calendar month, not your billing anniversary — usage resets on the 1st at 00:00 UTC.
