Privacy Policy
How we handle personal data — both for the people who hold Surveti accounts and the respondents who answer surveys built on the platform.

Who this covers
This policy applies to Surveti account holders (customers) and to respondents who take surveys hosted on Surveti. For respondent data collected through a survey, the customer who created the survey is the data controller and Surveti acts as a processor on their behalf.
What we collect
Account data: your name, email, organization, and billing details needed to run your account. Billing is processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
Usage data: how you interact with the product, so we can operate, secure, and improve it.
Survey response data: the answers respondents submit, which belong to the customer who created the survey.
How we use it
To provide and secure the service, process payments, respond to support requests, and communicate important account or service information. We do not sell personal data.
How it is protected
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256). Access is recorded in immutable audit logs. Infrastructure is hosted on AWS. We do not currently hold a SOC 2 attestation — see the Trust page for the current state of our security program.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA. Surveti supports deletion requests for both account and respondent data. To exercise a right, contact privacy@surveti.com; if your data was collected through a survey, we may direct you to the customer who controls it.
Retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it in line with legal obligations and the customer’s configured retention.
