Included on every plan (including Free)

Single Choice, Multiple Choice, Dropdown, Open Text, Scale (Likert), NPS, Slider, Ranking, Grid (single- and multi-answer), Star Grid, Date, Constant Sum, Image Select, Textbox List, Dropdown List, Descriptive Text and Section Headers, CAPTCHA.

Unlocked on Professional

  • Richer grids and lists — Ranking Grid, Textbox Grid, Dropdown Grid, Slider List, Cascading Dropdown, Side-by-Side comparisons

Step-by-step: check what you have

  1. Open the question picker — click + Question in the builder. All types appear in the picker; types above your plan are labeled with the plan that unlocks them. The question type picker

  2. Compare plans if you need a locked type — see What Is Included in Each Billing Tier or go to Settings → Billing → Change plan.

Tips

Tip: Most studies never need the gated types — a well-written Single Choice + Scale + Open Text questionnaire outperforms a fancy one with poor wording. Upgrade when the method demands it, not preemptively.

Note: Type availability is enforced server-side, so a survey built on a higher plan can't quietly break if your plan changes — the builder will flag questions your current plan no longer supports.
