Exporting MaxDiff Aggregate Scores to CSV or Excel
Download your MaxDiff item scores as a CSV or Excel file, ranked and ready for a deck.
Overview
Download your MaxDiff item scores as a CSV or Excel file, ranked and ready for a deck — without wrangling the raw response export.
Step-by-step
Open the Results tab — for a survey containing a MaxDiff question, a banner appears at the top of the dashboard.

Read the banner — "This survey uses MaxDiff. Download the aggregate utility scores — best-minus-worst, ranked by item."
Click CSV or Excel — the file downloads with each item and its aggregate best-minus-worst score, already ranked.
Tips
Tip: This export is the analysis. The scores arrive ranked, so the file drops almost directly into a chart — you don't need the raw response CSV unless you're re-modeling the data yourself.
Note: These are aggregate scores across your whole sample. To compare segments (e.g. enterprise vs SMB priorities), you'd need to filter or analyze the raw responses — the banner export doesn't break out by group.
